EASL ROSTER UPDATES: The latest signings, departures and more

Don't miss a single update across all 12 of EASL's 2025-26 teams

Oct. 31, 2025 — Andrew “Scootie” Randall Joins Ryukyu Golden Kings

The Ryukyu Golden Kings have signed Andrew “Scootie” Randall to a short-term contract through the 2025–26 season, the team announced. His arrival comes six days after the sudden departure of import forward Keve Aluma.

Randall joins Ryukyu from B2 side Rising Zephyr Fukuoka. This will be his second stint with the reigning Emperor’s Cup champions, having begun his professional career in Okinawa after going undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft following five years at Temple University.

“It's an honor to be joining the team where I started my professional career back in 2013,” Randall said in an article published on Ryukyu’s website. “I just want to thank the management and coaching staff for the opportunity to bring my experience to this club and help in any way I can daily.”

Randall has also played for several B.LEAGUE Division 1 teams, including the Gunma Crane Thunders, Ibaraki Robots, Osaka Evessa and Fighting Eagles Nagoya. He is likely to make his EASL debut in Ryukyu’s next game on Dec. 17.

Oct. 30, 2025 — Olufemi Olujobi leaves Taipei Fubon by mutual agreement

Taipei Fubon Braves forward Olufemi Olujobi has left the club, the team announced on its social media on Thursday afternoon. Olujobi, who signed on September 17, did not feature for the Braves in EASL competition. The club stated that both sides mutually agreed to end the contract early.

He did, however, appear in Taipei Fubon’s P. LEAGUE+ season-opener, finishing with 21 points on 5-for-6 from three and 4 rebounds in a 112–96 defeat.

Taipei Fubon’s remaining imports are Archie Goodwin, Troy Gillenwater and Bennie Boatwright.

Oct. 26, 2025 — Keve Aluma Departs Ryukyu Golden Kings, Cites Personal Reasons

Ryukyu Golden Kings forward Keve Aluma will not continue with the club for the rest of the 2025–26 EASL season. Aluma shared the update on Sunday, posting the following message on his social channels:

“Hi Ryukyu Golden Kings fans, I wanted to update you. I know it was sudden me leaving the team but I had some personal reasons for coming home. I am doing well and hope to be back to Japan in the future. My time with Ryukyu has been very special. God Bless.”

Ryukyu confirmed the news the next day on its official accounts.

Aluma did not appear in an EASL game for Ryukyu this season. He was listed on the roster for the Oct 22 win over the Meralco Bolts (81–72) but did not play.

Last season, Aluma led Ryukyu with 130 total points in EASL play and averaged 21.7 points and 11.7 rebounds.

Oct. 25 — Steve Zack Departs Alvark Tokyo

Alvark Tokyo center Steve Zack has left the team following its Oct 22 EASL game at New Taipei, a 107–89 road win. The club announced his departure on social media on Oct 25.

Zack appeared in one EASL game for Alvark this season, the Oct 8 matchup against the Xac Broncos, finishing with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists in a defeat.

Oct. 22 — Alvark Tokyo’s Kai Toews, Ryan Rossiter Return From Injury

Alvark Tokyo guards Kai Toews and forward Ryan Rossiter returned from injury on Wednesday, Oct 22, making their first EASL appearances of the season in a 107–89 win over the New Taipei Kings. Both had missed Alvark’s EASL opener with lower-body injuries.

In their return, Toews posted 10 points and 6 assists, while Rossiter added 5 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Oct. 17 — Ira Brown Departs Alvark Tokyo

Alvark Tokyo forward Ira Brown has left the team following its EASL opener on Oct 8, an 84–69 loss to Mongolia’s Xac Broncos. The club announced the move on social media on Oct 17.

Brown logged just over 17 minutes in the opener, finishing with 4 points and 6 rebounds. He had signed with Alvark on Sep 19, 2025.
